Paris - views from apartments

From Jean Denis' 6th [really 7th] floor walk-up near Saint Suplice.

From Luc's friend Romain's place in the Marais.

From Erik's gorgeous apartment also near Saint Suplice. That's Marcos, one of my best friends from Argentina who was working in Ireland for a few weeks and was lucky to take a weekend off and meet us in Paris.

Two stairwells; Erik's and Luc's. I felt really lucky this trip that I got to see so many private interiors. It's a different window on a city.

Paris - Large Vistas

It was late afternoon and after a long, cloudy day, the sun broke through for a few moments across the Place de la Concorde.

Me in Paris

I was in Paris last week, as is evidenced by these photographs of me in front of recognizable landmarks [Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Saint Suplice, and the Orientalism room at the d'Orsay, respectively]. I was there for vacation and to see my friends Jean Denis and Luc. By lucky coincidence the Argentines Marcos, Diego and Pablo were also visiting and I ended up spending a lot of the week speaking Spanish.
