Subway

Subways seem to be popping up across the city. There's always the scent of baking bread, altho I think they get the dough shipped to them. The smell isn't quite right. It's probably obvious that I took this picture and the three below it on the same night [Monday, as it were]. I edit the photos and upload them to the site all at once, but I'll stagger out the posts.

Jersey St.

Jersey St. is a small alley that cuts across Lafayette just below Houston. I always see crews filming or fashion shoots there. The cinematic image of New York is a city of alleyways, but in fact they're few and far-between.

Dumpsters Behind Puck

There's always some prom, party, or wedding reception going on at the Puck Building. Countless times i've walking by hearing the rented band playing 'YMCA' or 'Play that funky music whiteboy' [surely the bane of wedding bands everywhere]. Behind, on Mulberry St., trucks load and unload, noisy garbage truck grind, dumpsters overflow, and pools of party muck stand in the gutter.

Sunblock

I have a random assortment of 45 and 50 SPF sunblock. Even in winter I'm obsessive about putting it on my face.

Sick

I spent the weekend knocked out with some sort of flu. I'm mostly better now. The above picture is 400x400 pixels. Yahoo just upped my storage quota from 50mb to 2gb and I thought I'd pass the savings on to you. Here are a couple of remaining pictures edited under the old format:
