Robbers on High Street

My friend Aaron took me out to see Robbers on High Street at the Mercury Lounge on Tuesday night. At first they sounded like another Strokes-clone but the lead singer also plays piano and their songs have more variety. As the San Diego Union Tribune puts it, they make jagged indie guitar rock with pop sensibilities. Not bad for a Tuesday night.
